Federal Corporation was founded in 1954 and is the first manufacturer of producing radial tires in Taiwan Area. We have technical cooperation with Bridgestone Corporation from 1960 to 1979 and Sumitomo Rubber Industries (Dunlop Tires) from 1981 to 2000. 40 years of cooperation with two famous tire manufacturers has greatly strengthened Federal's R&D and technical capabilities. In 1987, the brand of Federal Tire was created. Today, Federal has established a strong network of overseas distributors with more than a hundred national/regional representatives throughout over 70 countries. Domestic channels are managed by Federex Marketing Corporation, and through the years, distribution in Taiwan has grown strongly and penetrated each and every corner of the island.

With state-of-the-art technology, strict quality control, and highly regulated safety standards, Federal is devoted to making better tires. Federal's first UHP tire was rewarded Taiwan Excellence and has a great selling in the world. In Japan, Federal has jump up to the most popular import brand. In 2005, Federal Tire successfully developed the first slick tire in Taiwan and has passion on support to Taiwanese motorsports. In 2007, X Challenge announces Federal Tyres as naming rights sponsor and official tyre supplier to Australian 2007 X Challenge one make series for Lotus cars. Federal Tire breaks a new ground in motorsports.
